Study shows VivoSight OCT could help Eyelid Cancer Surgery

21 May 2013 – In what is believed to be the first ever study to investigate OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)  imaging of skin cancers in the eyelids and skin surrounding the eye, the Dept of Opthalmology, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust have shown that OCT scanning can accurately reveal the margins of tumours.
